Fix or Prevent Frayed Lighting Cables How-to:
- Plumbers Tape
- Frayed Lightning Cord (to fix)
- Lightning Cord (to prevent fraying)
Cut a strip of Plumber’s Tape into a strip of about 7-8 inches. Carefully wrap the cord where it IS frayed or prone to fraying with the tape. Start at one end of the tape and roll over cord. The plumbers tape has a tendency to fold over on it’s self, so try to prevent that by holding the tape taut. Once you’ve wrapped the entire length of the tape around your lightning cord, press the tape to the cord and you are done. It’s seriously amazingly easy.
Think how much money you’ll save by not having to buy new lightning cords every few months!
