Now that New Year’s Eve is right around the corner, we are busy making up a list of fun Mocktails for Kids like this Italian Cherry Cream Soda. Our kids love to have fun new drinks made in fancy glasses to ring in the New Year. The great thing about Mocktails is that they do not contain alcohol so they are appropriate for kids, expectant mothers, designated drivers, and those that just don’t drink alcohol. They can be every bit as visually appealing as cocktails and have fabulous mixes of ingredients that make them and drinking experience they won’t forget! We decided that this New Year’s Eve our signature drink would be an Italian Cherry Cream Soda. Italian cream sodas are all the rage, and since my kids love cherries, this flavor won out. Check out our tutorial for making DIY Glitter Glasses to serve your drinks in. It’ll take your mocktails to a whole new level!

Italian Cherry Cream Soda Recipe
- ½ cup Club Soda
- 2 tbsp. Vanilla Torani Syrup
- 2 tbsp. Rose’s Grenadine
- 1 tbsp. Whipping Cream or Half & Half
- 3 ice cubes
- Cherry (or cherries) for the top!

Step 1: Start by putting 3 ice cubes in each glass. Tip: If you’re using a skinny glass crushed ice will work better. Step 2: Pour 1/2 cup club soda into the glass. Step 3: Measure the syrups into the glass. We purchased our syrups at the grocery store. You can also find them at Smart and Final and Target. Step 4: Add 1 tablespoon of whipping cream to the drink. Step 5: Garnish with a cherry or two and serve! Check out our other recipe posts for more cooking inspiration, and here’s how to make DIY Glitter Glasses!
