No Sew Flannel Scarf

Flannel is such an easy fabric to work with. It’s warm, buttery soft, and washes well, which makes it one of the best fabric for scarves. You don’t even have to pull out the sewing machine to make this diy scarf, which makes it right up our alley (smiling). This no sew flannel scarf is so easy to make you could easily have it done in just minutes. Seriously! So, if you still have Christmas gifts to make this is the perfect homemade gift! We even have a step by step pictured tutorial of how to tie a scarf. Every time the recipient wraps themselves in warmth they’ll think of you. It’s a win/win!

Supplies:

  • Flannel fabric, 2 – 2 1/2 yards
  • Seam ripper

Since you had the fabric cut in the store you already have the exact dimensions. (High fives) The only thing you’ll have to do is use your seam ripper to pull threads from the edges of the fabric. It works best to pull one thread at a time.

How to Tie a Scarf

Step 1: Start with the longer end of your scarf.

Step 2: Loop around neck once.

Step 3: Pull through loop in front and tuck it under.

Step 4: Voila! You can pull the fabric apart to make it fuller if desired.
