Supplies:

  • Ice Cube Tray
  • Lemon, thinly sliced
  • White Vinegar

tablets

Thinly slice a lemon, then cut the slices into quarters. Fill each cube compartment in the tray with approximately two slices. Note: for variation you could always add lime slices.

vinegar

After all of the cube compartments are filled with lemon slices, pour distilled vinegar into each one filling them to the top just like you would with water when making ice.

The tray is ready to be placed in the freezer. You can keep the tablets in the ice cube tray and pop a cube out anytime you want to freshen the garbage disposal. All you have to do is throw it in the disposal, turn on the water and run the garbage disposal. The vinegar sanitizes your disposal and the lemon adds a refreshing scent. Or, if you need your ice cube tray for something else you can put the cubes in a ziploc bag or storage container.
