Snickerdoodle Soap Recipe

homemade soap melt

(note: no affiliate links are used in this post)

STEP 1: Place 12 cubes of Goat’s Milk Soap Suspension Formula in microwave safe bowl (we always use our Pyrex measuring cup) and melt in microwave approximately 1-1/2 – 2 minutes on high in 30 second increments. Tip: The soap cubes melt more evenly if you use a knife to cut the individual cubes instead of leaving them in a block.  (Use a 40% off coupon at Michael’s to pay less for your soap which costs about $10.50 full price.)

STEP 2: Add approximately 30 drops of snickerdoodle essential oil to the melted suspension.  Stir well.  You can use any snickerdoodle essential oil you like. We got ours on Amazon.

STEP 3: Mix about 1 Tablespoon of cinnamon to the mixture making sure that you stir well so it doesn’t clump.

STEP 4: Immediately pour into soap molds. We purchased a 3 pack from Michael’s for about $2.25. This recipe fills all three molds.

STEP 5: Sift cinnamon over the top of the soap molds.

STEP 6: Place soap molds in the freezer for 10 minutes to set. Remove promptly and remove soap from molds. To remove from molds, simply wiggle them out like you would ice from an ice tray.

Decorate Soap

Decorate your soap however you’d like! We used a ribbon to tie around the soap. So cute!
